Ladywood Lodge was built in 1903, it was rumoured that Lilly Langtree stayed here when the king was at Marham House nearby.
The Edwardian rooms retain many original features and are tastefully decorated in colours be- fitting the era. They are very comfortable with kingsize beds, cotton sheets, tea and coffee facilities The ensuite bathrooms are stunning and well suited to the rooms both have TV & Wi FI The beautiful breakfast lounge looks onto the pretty court yard with its' own Narnia light !

We have 3 well behaved and friendly Labrador Retrievers, 2 small white cats and 13 chickens who are also waiting to give you a warm welcome!

This area is vast, the brecks http://www.brecks.org/ is at the heart of The East of England. Swaffham is nearby with great Antique shops as well as CoCoes, a cafe' you'll truly enjoy. North Norfolk has gorgeous beaches but also the wonderful town of Holt, a quaint classy place full of lovely little tea rooms & beautiful shops.
Historic Venues & Landmarks
The link and the picture relate to Oxborough Hall a wonderful place to visit. Norfolk boasts more Historic venues than most you really are spoilt for choice. In the Area are numerous Historic Halls and venues. Narborough Hall, Houghton Hall, Holkham & Blickling Halls are all nearby and well worth a visit.
North Norfolk Coast
The North Norfolk Coast is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with many wonderful beaches.The picture is Holkham beach which would rival any beach anywhere, with it's wonderful vast coastline that never ends.Wells next the sea is still a fishing port and has been since tudor times! Crab is abundant & Fish & Chips a must! This is an area to explore over and over again.Visit the link
Sandringham House is a country house on 8,000 hectares of land near the village of Sandringham in Norfolk. It is the Queens Country retreat and rumoured to be one of the her favorite places.Sandringham's gardens were opened to the public by King Edward VII in 1908. This is a venue worth a visit. There is also a lovely visitors centre nearby
Walks and Cycling
Shouldham Warren is a vast forest maintained by the Forestry Comission. It is fantastic to explore either on foot or a bicycle. Take a packed lunch and make a day of it! There are many other wonderful areas to explore in the area, visit The Brecks web site for more local walks and adventures.
